This week, new HomePod mini colors are available for pick-up and delivery in-store.

Apple’s three new HomePod mini colors are now available for purchase on the Apple Store app and on Yellow, orange, and a dark blue were among the hues shown at Apple’s “Unleashed” special event a few weeks ago. They’re a major change from Apple’s previous HomePod color options, which have been neutral white and space grey for the past four years. The new hues have the same $99.00 price tag.

In addition to shipping this week, Apple is providing in-store pick-up at retail shops for the new hues. If you wish to establish a multi-room audio system, you can select to add extra HomePod minis to your bag at checkout. These new HomePod minis may also be added to your current multi-room HomePod setup.

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman and AppleTrack’s Sam Kohl both indicated that the new HomePod minis will be released this week.

While the new HomePod minis aren’t really any different in terms of hardware, they do come with Apple’s most recent software update for existing HomePod customers. The following are some of the new features:

  • Stereo pairing for HomePod minis – compatible with Apple TV 4K
  • Audio controls automatically appear on your iPhone or iPad’s lock screens
  • Lower the bass level to avoid disturbing your neighbors
  • Turn on your Apple TV and control it with HomePod
