Huawei Consumer Business CEO Yu Chengdong announced at the Huawei P50 series launch event that HarmonyOS 2 has had over 40 million users since June 2nd. This equates to eight users upgrading every second. He also claims that several older devices, such as the Mate 9 and P10, will receive the upgrade. According to Huawei, this upgrade will be available for over 100 devices before the end of the year. In addition, HarmonyOS is expected to be installed on 300 million devices.
