Apple’s most recent commercial depicts the amount of tracking that occurs in applications and on the websites you visit on a daily basis. It accomplishes this by following a guy throughout the day and exposing all of the ways in which the many applications he uses collect and share data about him.
For instance, the young man begins his career in a coffee shop. The barista follows him out the door and joins him in a rideshare, providing information with the driver. When he gets at his location, the chauffeur and barista both accompany him in and give further information with what appears to be a bank manager.
You can imagine how quickly the situation devolves into chaos as each interaction results in a new tracker following him about all day.
