Microsoft is planning to deliver a Surface Duo 2 later this year. The dual-screen smartphone will include a new triple camera setup, according to leaked pictures. Last month, the photographs were released in a YouTube video, and Windows Central thinks they are genuine. Microsoft plans to release the Surface Duo 2 in September or October.
The Surface Duo 2’s camera system appears to be the device’s most significant hardware change. A telephoto, ultrawide angle, and regular lens are said to be included. In the leaked photographs, the gadget has a bulge on the back, similar to many other premium Android phones. On the Duo 2, Microsoft appears to have moved the fingerprint scanner to the power button and positioned the USB-C connector on the right-hand side.
Overall, the Surface Duo 2 is projected to have minor design modifications, with the majority of the key changes occurring in the camera system and internal specifications. The Surface Duo 2 is expected to have Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 CPU, 5G capability, and an NFC chip for contactless payments, according to rumors. Microsoft may even expand the size of each panel on the Surface Duo 2 by a few millimeters, with smaller bezels and black and white color options.
