Apple releases iOS 14.7 Beta 5 to developers

Developers may now download the Beta 5 version of iOS 14.7. Apple has also released the update’s complete release notes, which provide additional information on what’s new for iPhone and iPad owners.

The iOS 14.7 beta 5 update is now available to developers as an over-the-air upgrade in the Settings app. If the update does not show for download right away, keep checking because it might take a few minutes for it to reach all registered developers. 18G5063a is the build number for today’s update.

As a reminder, Apple no longer uses the golden master naming convention for near-final beta versions. Instead, the company will refer to a near-final beta version as a “Release Candidate,” or RC, in the future.
